Denisa provides cutting-edge advice on AI law, working closely with frontier AI labs and advanced model developers, as well as with companies integrating AI-driven functionalities into commercial offerings. Anchored in a deep understanding of AI's technical dimensions, she assists clients in navigating the evolving AI regulatory landscape, including EU AI Act readiness and governance framework design. Denisa develops end-to-end risk analysis and policy strategies for generative AI, machine learning models, third-party solutions, and internally developed systems. She implements human-in-the-loop safeguards, AI vendor evaluation, and the integration of responsible and ethical AI principles into operational frameworks.

In parallel, she plays a central role in the firm’s internal adoption of AI. She has designed AI-enabled legal workflows and delivered training programs for legal and business teams, combining legal expertise with hands-on experience in deploying AI in practice.

Denisa has extensive experience helping clients navigate all aspects of Romanian and EU competition law, advising on merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) screenings. She represents clients before the Romanian Competition Council across investigations, market inquiries, and dawn raids. Her advisory work covers abuse of dominance — with a focus on digital markets and platform regulation — cartel matters, competition law issues arising out of commercial agreements, including vertical and horizontal arrangements, and unfair competition. She also regularly assists clients in designing antitrust compliance programs, conducting compliance audits, and delivering competition law training.

Denisa's practice covers the full lifecycle of digital products and platforms. She handles regulatory obligations, marketplace compliance, and content governance, alongside advising on data monetisation and ad-tech frameworks. She also frequently negotiates complex technology agreements spanning cloud computing, outsourcing, digital transformation, licensing, software development, SaaS, and procurement.

Denisa has broad experience advising on consumer rights, e-commerce, and digital marketing. She covers the full spectrum of advertising rules—from labeling, disclosures, and sector-specific ad claims to paid promotions, contests, and promotional offers. Additionally, she handles product launch compliance in Romania.

Denisa designs and implements comprehensive compliance programs and translates risk assessments into actionable compliance manuals, internal procedures, and targeted training, while also advising on dawn raid readiness.

Denisa assists in cross-border and domestic transactions involving Romanian law, with a strong focus on the TMT sector. Her transactional work encompasses comprehensive due diligence and SPA negotiations. 

Furthermore, she advises on banking, finance, and insurance law, as well as broader commercial matters, drawing on her significant experience in complex contract negotiations.
