We are pleased to invite you to a new event in the “DOUBLE ESPRESSO” series, dedicated to topics that are already reshaping employers’ legal and compliance agendas and transforming the way organisations manage their employment relationships.
Pay transparency is no longer merely an emerging trend, but a new European standard that will reshape organisational practices relating to remuneration, recruitment and access to pay information. Although the Pay Transparency Directive has not yet been transposed into Romanian legislation, for employers, the relevant question is no longer whether these changes will occur, but how they can begin preparing for them already. In the absence of early preparatory steps, the transition to the new requirements may leave organisations exposed to legal vulnerabilities that may prove difficult to remedy at a later stage.
At the same time, artificial intelligence is rapidly making its way into the day-to-day activities of organisations. From recruitment and performance evaluation to employees’ everyday work, the use of AI tools is becoming increasingly widespread, raising new questions regarding accountability, limits of use and legal implications. In this context, AI literacy within organisations and the establishment of clear internal rules governing AI use in the workplace are becoming increasingly important.
During the event, we aim to explore the legal implications of the new pay transparency standard and to decode the challenges that the use of AI raises in the workplace, providing employers with practical guidance in a rapidly evolving employment landscape.
To participate, you must register by 17 April 2026, using the link below. The number of participants is limited to 30, and only one person per company/group of companies may participate.
The event will be held in Romanian and is primarily intended for HR professionals, members of executive management, in-house legal counsel, and compliance officers, while other professionals with an interest in these topics are also welcome to attend.
